In recent months, i’ve been repeatedly exposed to words like “Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)”, “Law of Attraction” and “Focus”. Little did I know that they are actually related!
NLP is an approach to communication, personal development and psychotherapy created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder back in 1970s (refer to Wikipedia). In essence, it’s an approach to reprogram your mind and hence, yourself.
Law of Attraction is the belief that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, a person can brings positive or negative experiences into their life.
Active mind programming through laser Focus on the thing/goal/event that you want to achieve is employed to stimulate Law of Attraction. We are shaped by events/people/thoughts that surrounded us everyday.
For example, positive people tends to attract positive people. People who are fear of height could arise from a severe fall during childhood.
The key thing I believe is to consciously program our mind to think on the things that we want. And dont stop at just thinking, but move one more step: picture that you get it already. Repeat this everyday, and you’ll get it.
